The wine list at The Local has been carefully curated to bring you over 60 different new world and old world wines. Our selections include sparkling wines and champagnes, whites and rosés, red wines, and dessert wines.
Some of our options will be familiar, like pinot noir, merlot, and chardonnay. But there are also wines in our cellar that may be new to the average wine drinker. Varietals like Albariño, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Barbera may not be household names, and that’s why we want to bring them to you in our Henderson wine bar. Our helpful team of wine experts (including our certified sommelier) will walk you through the wine list to find the perfect vino to suit your palate.
If you can’t settle on just one, we also offer a series of wine flights. You can sample flights of New World wines from California, Argentina, and New Zealand. Or try a flight of Old World wines from Italy, France, and Spain. We also have a flight of staff selections if you want to put yourself entirely in our hands!
We’ve worked hard to bring you the best wine bar in Henderson, but that doesn’t mean our offerings are limited to wine. We also have draft beer for those days when a glass of wine just won’t hit the spot.
We love to feature local Las Vegas breweries like Banger Brewing, Big Dog’s Brewing Company, and Bad Beat Brewing. We also bring in some of the best beers from national breweries. And finally, there’s our cocktail menu. The cocktails at The Local are mostly updated versions of the classics — with a few modern additions for good measure.
The Butterfly Gin & Tonic, for example, is not your grandma’s G&T. Vibrant purple Empress 1908 gin is made from a unique blend of 8 different botanicals, giving it a flavor like none other. It’s mixed with Fever Tree Tonic from London — the absolute best tonic we could find. And to top it off, it’s garnished with a dash of lemon zest and a real flower. The resulting drink is a violet-hued beauty — and it tastes as good as it looks.
Then there’s our White Peach Cosmo. Instead of astringent cranberry, we add delicate white peach for a light and refreshing cocktail in the perfect shade of soft pink, garnished with a peach ring.
If you don’t like sweet drinks, we have classics like our District Dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, Sidecar, and our Old Fashioned.
And for those who prefer to sip spirits on the rocks, we have a high-end selection of liquors like Eagle Rare 10 year whiskey, Lagavulin 16 year scotch, and Del Maguey Chichicapa mezcal!
